What will the service be like?

Our services include a combination of music, video, and a message about a specific topic and what the Bible has to say about it. The music will be played by a live band with a few singers. The words to the songs will be up on a screen so that you can sing along if you’d like.

The weekly message is usually delivered by Vern Streeter, our senior pastor, via video on a huge screen on the stage. [Learn more about Vern here.] We don’t mess around with weird words you won’t understand—the messages are put together in a way that anyone can easily understand them, whether you’ve ever been to church before or not.

The most important thing is that we talk about things that matter—topics that will make a difference in your life tomorrow.

How long will the service last?

The service will last just a little over an hour, about 75 minutes. It’s long enough for us to have a great time together … and don’t worry, you won’t be bored.

We take your time very seriously and we work hard to make sure our services are practical and relevant to your life. You’ll always have something you can walk away with that will make a difference in your life on Monday. That’s our commitment to you.

What do you have for my kids?

At all of our services, we’ve got environments specifically designed for kids from birth through 5th grade (we call it Trek^). You’ll check your kids in before the service and pick them up when service is over.

At all of our services, we’ve got environments specifically designed for kids from birth through 5th grade (we call it Trek^). You’ll check your kids in before the service and pick them up when service is over.

During the service, they’ll be in an environment intentionally crafted to speak in their language, including games, a bible story, activities, and age-appropriate discussion.

Our student ministries (we call them Crux^), for 6th-12th grade, meet on Wednesday nights from 6:15pm-8pm at the Civic Center.

What do you believe?

We believe in Jesus Christ—that He was a real guy who lived about 2000 years ago. He came to show us what God is like and to make a way for us to connect with God.

What do you believe?

We believe in Jesus Christ—that He was a real guy who lived about 2000 years ago. He came to show us what God is like and to make a way for us to connect with God.

Jesus went around teaching and healing people for about 3 years. After that, He died on a cross and then rose again 3 days later! Because of His death and resurrection, everything is different. If we believe in Jesus, we can be connected with God now … and live with God forever!

What should I wear?

Really, it’s up to you. For the most part, we dress pretty casual. Our pastor usually wears jeans while he’s preaching, if that tells you anything.

Some people prefer to dress up a bit, but most of us keep it casual. We’re much less concerned about what you wear because we don’t think that’s very important. God isn’t concerned about what you wear either, so wear something comfortable.

Where do I go if I have questions once I’m there?

There’s an information center in the lobby, conveniently located under the big question mark. You can find help there.

Where do I go if I have questions once I’m there?

There’s an Information Center in the lobby, conveniently designated by a big question mark and staffed by our Know-It-Alls. They can answer any questions you have and help you find your way around.

And, you’ll find that the vast majority of people at Harvest are friendly. (We’ve tried to weed out all the crabby people, but there are still a few around here or there.) If you’re feeling lost, just ask someone. You never know who you might meet.

Where can I serve?

There are all sorts of places where you can serve, giving your time and your abilities, to work alongside other members of Harvest as we follow Jesus together.
